It is recommended that the shop owner sell items that they are familiar and can easily answer questions about. Another disadvantage to working over the Internet is the lack of community that can be felt when working in a brick and mortar location. Some workers do their best work when surrounded by a group of colleagues. For workers like these, that should seriously think about the decision to work over the Internet.

For workers who want to make extra cash and are responsible enough, working online could be a great option that may lead to better opportunities. Those who do not possess the drive to work on their own would be better off looking for a second job at a brick and mortar location. When making the decision to work over the Internet, it is important to remember the expectations and demands may be higher than those of a regular full time job. If a person has the drive and desire, he or she can turn their online ventures into something amazing.
