Have You Ever Read a Book on a Field Trip?

I’ve always been the kid on the field trip with a hefty sized book on her person. If the book was too big though, I usually stowed it away on the bus. I love to read and usually on field trips, even noisy, fun, rowdy ones, there’s going to be down time.

It’s normally on the bus ride at some point. Your friends get tired, try to nap, zone out to their headphones, spend the time checking their phones, watch the movie projected on those tiny TVs, etc. When that happens it’s nice to have a book handy to read.

I wouldn’t normally take the book off the bus, though it’s been known to happen if the field trip wasn’t a theme park! How about you? Have you ever brought a book on a school trip before?
